Many manufacturers have opted to redesign sedans and bring out all new versions of these classic-styled automobiles. As practical as they are at first glance, luxury sedans are known for their entry-level four doors and plush seating. The sedans listed here are either already on sale or will be available for sedan enthusiasts by next year. 1. 2015 Subaru Legacy

Japanese automakers have always been known to design cars from a conventional mainstream design. This luxury sedan has features such as fuel efficiency and variable automatic transmission which allows the vehicle to maintain its standard all-wheel drive system. The sedan has a 2.5-liter entry-level, 175 horsepower engine and gets 36-mpg when cruising on the highway. The 3.6-liter six-cylinder model hikes up the ante for as much as 256 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque. Another aspect of the Legacy that appeals to buyers is the interior which is similar to family cars at the same price point.

2. 2015 Audi A3

The luxury sedan field has become serious and competitive and the Audi A3 is a clear indication. It is a 70s and 80s version of the A4 sedan. This luxury car has a Quattro all-wheel drive option and two turbocharged four-cylinder engines – specifically 1.8 liter (170 horsepower) and 2.0 liter (220 horsepower). Across the board is a six-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. Later this year, a diesel model will arrive. That model has 290 horsepower and offers a more focused and faster driving experience.

3. 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This luxury sedan is now part of the CLA-Class and has joined the entry-level role. This model is more comfortable and bigger than it has ever been in previous years. It also has better technology and a higher standard of equipment than previous models. The C-Class has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder mill which generates 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. This luxury car offers impressive fuel economy, seven-speed automatic transmission, and an available all-wheel drive for each model.

4. 2015 Subaru WRX

The Sedan platform has significantly been stiffened by the arrival of the 2015 Subaru WRX. It is the most comfortable version and best-handling of the rally-inspired four-door sports car to date. The Subaru WRX has the same 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine that was previously found in the Forester XT SUV. It also has 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque which provides it with exceptional acceleration. The model features a smoother-shifting manual transmission that has six forward gears instead of the usual five. It also has standard all-wheel drive as well as a new vectoring system which helps in improving turns.

5. 2015 Hyundai Genesis

This model is bulkier and has more road presence. It is built to have a stronger play for the premium customers. The 2015 Hyundai Genesis is big inside and out and has comfortable features that offer luxury sedan enthusiasts the kind of ride that is to be expected from a more established brand – but at an affordable price. It has full size four-door features and powerful engine choices starting out with a 311 horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 engine. Other features include all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It comes with the six-cylinder version of the Genesis and a rear-wheel drive edition of the sedan that is configurable with 5.0 liter V-8 and 420 horsepower.
